Teaching Experience

Emily has provided instruction to over 2000+ individuals and over 3000+ groups (anywhere from 3 to 25 shooters) with the familiarization and safe use of a wide variety of firearms. Backgrounds of students include (but are not limited to) civilians, first responders, and military members. Documents the progress, abilities and limitations of each student while maintaining safety and order at the range. Provides problem solving methods in finding solutions to help resolve deficiencies in skills and techniques.

Is shooting experience required?

Are guns and ammo provided if I don't have my own?

Depends on the training facility! Inquire for more information.

What is proper range attire?

The perfect range attire:
– T-shirt
– Jeans or Cargo Pants
– Close-toed shoes
– Hat

Weather-dependent attire may be required.

What should I expect upon arrival?

Please arrive 15 minutes ahead to get checked in with the front desk and to get anything from them you may need. Guns must remain in their cases until instructed otherwise. Invoiced price does not include any fees, rentals, or purchases made to the training facility.

What is the cancellation policy?

Notice must be given by 12:00 pm the previous day of the lesson. Cancellations made before this deadline will receive a lesson credit. Any credited lesson does not extend the original package validity and must be used within the original package validity period or within 30 days of the credit— whichever occurs first.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

It depends on the training facility! Inquire for more information.
